The Line Cook is someone who focuses on accuracy, follows recipes, and is able to be flexible in a team environment. They also follow and practice the Galloway Ridge Core Values: caring, empowerment, integrity, and commitment. This position will be from 12pm-8pm and works on the weekends. What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll contribute to the success of our kitchen team by performing a wide range of responsibilities: Prepare food for our residents. Maintain a clean workspace throughout your shift and participate in end of shift cleaning. Put away deliveries and prep items according to FIFO method. Follow and reproduce plate presentation standards. Continue to develop as a professional. BOH training opportunities, Relias training, and maintaining a ServSafe certification. Requirements A high school diploma or GED ServSafe certification Commitment to improving skills Courteous and cooperative with residents, families, co-workers, management, and other staff. Cooking skills – frying, poaching, baking, roasting, stewing, braising, sauteing, grilling, and steaming. Responsibilities
