Dohrn Transfer is currently seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Coordinator at our Rock Island, IL terminal.Pay is starting at $48,000/yearHours: Monday - FridayBenefits: Health / Vision / Dental insurance, 401k matching, life insurance, short/long term disability and more. Position Summary: To coordinate, plan, and schedule equipment for various maintenance functions, including both scheduled repairs and breakdowns. Responsibilities Essential Functions: • Communicate with terminals regarding fleet maintenance issues• Communicate with Vendors and act as a liaison on repairs/breakdowns• Communicate with Dispatchers and Drivers as needed for clarification of issues to assist vendors• Processing invoices for entry into A/P system• Proactively work in Samsara to assist with clearing DVIRs, Identifying issues with ELD and trailer tracking equipment• Assist with movement of forklifts between shops and coordinating vendors for onsite repair• React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned• Holds decision making authority on repairs as designated by supervisor• Other Duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Requirements: • High School completion or equivalent• Valid Driver License • Outstanding organizational, problem solving and analytical skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook• Experience in an office environment is preferred• Previous Experience with Heavy Duty Truck repair in a fleet environment is required• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required to communicate effectively with outside terminals, vendors, and customers• Must possess strong typing and 10-key skills; Minimum of 35 wpm is required• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task• Excellent attendance Working Conditions/Physical Demands • Primarily sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the time • May be occasionally required to exert up to 10 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects• Walking or standing are only required occasionally • The general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise and dust • Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor• Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers• Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others Dohrn Transfer Company, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
