MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education - Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and work-related training
  • Experience - Four (4) years appropriate office/clerical experience
  • Skills - Demonstrated typing and the use of office machines; communication skills both oral and written; demonstrated use of computers; demonstrated use of excel spreadsheets
    Position Responsibilities:
    Assists the Executive Director of Advancement with all Foundation and Alumni activities and programs; assists with the cultivation and maintenance of working relationships with appropriate college divisions, departments and offices as well as outside agencies, organizations, Foundation Board and donors; serves as secretary to the Foundation Board of Directors; prepares and maintains financial transactions including deposits for foundation and alumni; assist in the preparation of Foundation and Alumni events; post and maintain donations to the Foundation and Alumni accounting software; make all arrangements including meals, venue coordination, attendee coordination, attend and take minutes at Foundation Board meetings; assist in the review process and selection of scholarship recipients; update Alumni records; enters data for participants for all annual Alumni events, including the craft fair, dental health day, flea market and graduate reception in addition to Foundation annual events including but not limited to Annual Foundation dinner, Legislative Breakfast and various other events; types and processes donation acknowledgements, maintain various Institutional Advancement and Alumni development department records and reports; sorts and routes incoming mail; maintain excel spreadsheets and process mail merges; files correspondence and other records; greets visitors and students, ascertains nature of business and provides direction; assist with student scholarship application process as needed; places outgoing calls, maintains voicemail and schedules appointments; creates requisitions for office supplies and other departmental needs. Oversees Food Pantry volunteer schedule and inventory.Entry Salary: $28,969/annual
    Standard Work Week: 35 hours
