WHO WE ARE

An award-winning bank here to help Britain’s go-getters.

MORE ABOUT US

In 2009, Aldermore set out to be the bank helping those with ideas, big and small, to realise their dreams and to seek and seize opportunity in their personal and professional lives. We call it banking for the bold. Today, we’re an award-winning bank that has helped fund the growth of Britain’s small businesses through a range of business finance solutions, specialist mortgages and savings accounts that provides our customers with the support they need to make things happen. Join us if you want to find yourself at the heart of a dynamic, growing organisation where our employees are empowered to grow their expertise and build their careers.
Asset and Liability Management (ALM) is responsible for the liquidity and market risk management of Aldermore, and funds transfer pricing (FTP). Increasingly, the department also participates in more general balance sheet management and treasury analytics. All these responsibilities involve sophisticated financial models, which are owned and maintained by ALM.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Supporting the implementation and ongoing development of the FTP framework
  • Reporting FTP to business lines and developing relationships with business stakeholders
  • Reviewing and updating FTP curves and supporting models
  • Management of the monthly financial ledger entries for FTP
  • Developing MI and visual analytics using the team’s rich and granular data sources
  • Ad hoc product funding and pricing support to business lines
Responsibilities

This is an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the Treasury (ALM) team based in Central London as an FTP (Funds Transfer Pricing) Analyst supporting the operation and development of the FTP framework. This is an opportunity to be at the centre of FTP and engage with business lines to help maintain a stable FTP profile, and allocate costs and risks accordingly. Aldermore recently implemented a new FTP framework, and is looking to build on this success by expanding its coverage to the rest of the balance sheet. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management and forthcoming developments of the framework. The successful candidate will work in a team of 3 focusing on FTP, but will have exposure to other ALM activities.
