Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented OSP Fiber Optic Project Coordinator to oversee project coordination, small warehouse inventory, and office management. This role requires a strong understanding of outside plant (OSP) fiber optic construction processes, logistics, and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will support project teams, ensure materials are available for field crews, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist with office administration tasks.
Responsibilities
· Perform billing
· Assist in planning and scheduling fiber optic construction projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
· Communicate with field crews, contractors, and vendors to coordinate material delivery and job site readiness.
· Track project progress, update reports, and maintain documentation related to permits, inspections, and as-builts.
· Work closely with the project team to address any field issues and provide timely solutions.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during fiber optic installations.
· Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of fiber optic materials and construction equipment.
· Coordinate procurement of materials, ensuring adequate stock is available for projects.
· Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships for operational efficiency.
· Handle project documentation, invoicing, and data entry related to project expenses.
· Assist in processing work orders, contracts, and ensuring documentation is properly filed.
· Support hiring, onboarding, and training of field personnel by organizing paperwork and safety certifications.
· Coordinate meetings, maintain schedules, and provide administrative support to project managers and field teams.
Skills

· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and adapt to changing project needs.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory management software.
· Experience with GIS systems, Smartsheet, or project management tools is a plus.
Qualifications
· Knowledge of fiber optic cables, splicing materials, and construction practices.
· Previous experience in warehouse logistics and inventory control.
· 2+ years in project coordination, warehouse/inventory management, or office administration in the telecom/fiber optic industry.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. and move materials within a warehouse environment.
· Willingness to visit job sites occasionally to check material deliveries or assist with coordination.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
