Job Description As a Night & Weekday Dispatcher, you will be the central nervous system of our operations, ensuring our drivers and customers are supported with seamless logistics and communication. This is a critical role that requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to act with a sense of urgency. Your responsibilities will include: Route Management: Strategically determine and manage daily routes for a group of 5-10 drivers, making real-time adjustments to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. Operational Oversight: Monitor driver progress, manage time and attendance, and coordinate daily activities with account managers. Customer and Driver Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer calls and driver communications, addressing service requests, issues, and questions effectively. Safety & Efficiency: Actively promote a positive safety culture and work to improve the productivity of our driving staff. Data & Reporting: Monitor fuel prices and loading preferences, and assist with data collection for our incentive pay programs. Schedule: Monday- Friday: Start time can range from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Qualifications Required: Previous experience as a dispatcher or a Class A/B driver. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software. A high school diploma or equivalent. Other duties as needed or assigned Preferred: Knowledge of the Stockton and Central Valley geography is a significant plus. Compensation This is a full-time, salaried position with a starting pay of $70,000 to $73,000 annually, depending on experience. Ready to drive your career forward?
