Description We're looking for an outstanding Fuel Delivery Driver/Service Tech to join our Team at our Lovingston Plant. This position requires an individual to safely load, then drive a bobtail delivery vehicle to residential and commercial customer locations, and to be cross trained as a Service Technician. Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance. Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates delivery truck in accordance with established safety procedures. Can also operate as a Service Technician performing tank maintenance and other tasks. Collaborate with Dispatcher to plan and follow routes and meet delivery schedules. Provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering questions. Completes required on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries and responses. Ensure struck and associated equipment are clean and in good working order. Outside of heating season, assists with plant maintenance and other tasks as needed. Qualifications and Experience Possess a CDL Class A or B License with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements Commitment to safety in all aspects of your work! Experience maneuvering in tight quarters and driving in snow, ice and other weather conditions Physically capable of heavy lifting, bending, squatting, climbing, carrying hoses/nozzles weighing up to 50 lbs Good driving record with no major convictions Able to communicate effectively verbally and in written correspondence with Dispatcher and customers Able to read and understand road signs, instructions, routes and other paperwork Displays a positive, “can-do” attitude and interacts well with others on a team Pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and MVR check.
