Overview Fuel & Lube Technician (Lube Driver – Class 3) Sureway Construction is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, with over 50 years’ experience, involved in; civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction. Job Type: Full-Time, Seasonal Schedule: 10+ Hours/day, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week Perks: Benefits, RRSP/TFSA Matching Location: Edmonton and Surrounding Area’s (non-camp position, required to live in the area) Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions Requirements: Personal Reliable Vehicle CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support Clean Driver’s Abstract, Valid Class 3Q Driver’s License Pre-employment: Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based or urine test) Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation Fuel & Lube Technician (Lube Driver) Responsibilities: Daily servicing of all machinery including: fueling, fluid levels, tire pressure, components, and filters Perform lube oil filter services in the field Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. Responsibilities
The technician is responsible for the daily servicing of all machinery, which includes fueling, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, components, and filters. They must also perform lube oil filter services in the field and actively promote and adhere to the company's safety program.
