WE ARE SEEKING A FUEL TRUCK DRIVER!  THE OPPORTUNITY: This is a local position working at our client site in Fort McMurray, AB. The successful local candidate will have access to daily bussing to/from the working location.   THE ROLE: The Fuel Truck Driver reports to the Team Lead or designate   ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Driving, hauling, and dispensing gasoline, fuel oil, lubricating oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to clients * Adhere to all Safety Procedures and Practices pertaining to hauling and dispensing fuel. * Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. * Oversee condition of equipment and conduct pre/post-checks on equipment. * Complete daily Job Hazard Assessments, Fuel Logs and Truck Logs as required * Reads gauges or meters and record quantity loaded * Plan travel schedules and routes * Drive lighter, special purpose trucks if required * Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness * Adhere to Company policies and work requirements * Monitor equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems * Complete all maintenance tasks to ensure equipment, housekeeping, and work areas are kept to best standards and safe working conditions * Assist team members in a professional, friendly, and collaborative manner * Report any equipment damages, maintenance requirements, and delays to supervisor * Maintain safety and maintenance records in compliance with procedure. * Operator vehicles and equipment as required to complete various tasks * Perform any additional duties as required to ensure top client services are provided    Page Break REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES: * Class 1 Driver’s License * 3-5 years’ experience of commercial driving, hauling fuel, or similar * Knowledge and experience with fuel and lube is a strong asset. * Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification * H2S Alive, TDG, First Aid, and WHMIS certifications * Knowledge of transportation regulations; company and legislative requirements * Physically able to complete the duties including lifting, bending, and carrying * Ability to access all client sites as required * Able to work in all weather and working site conditions.   SCHEDULE: * The shift for this position is 7 days, 7 nights, followed by 7 days off rotation working 12-hour days. The successful local candidate will have access to daily bussing to/from the working location.
