REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a US or Australian Citizen
  • Must possess a US Secret or AUS NV-1 Clearance.
  • Undergraduate degree in related field with 5 years’ experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of all relevant safety standards related to area of responsibility required.
    This role will be located in Alice Springs. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
Responsibilities

In the role of Fuels Manager, your duties will include:

  • Overall responsibility for the department in monitoring and maintaining the amount of fuel in the tanks of a fuel farm.
  • Reviews usage calculations, service times and amount for tank fillings are maintained and forms completed. Oversees receiving or shipping documents.
  • Reviews inspection samples of fuel, checks gravity and flashpoint.
  • Reviews information on water in tanks, temperature, and fuel levels.
  • Ensures completion of all reports that show preventive maintenance and repairs on terminal systems have been performed.
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) standards are maintained, and proper safety training has been conducted and reviewed on a regular basis.
