About this Role:
Ampacity’s Order Fulfillment Coordinator has a critical role within the daily operation of our Des Moines Distribution Center. The ideal candidate will be able to perform these responsibilities including but not limited to All functions relating to fulfillment, including preparations of product picking, product packing, and product staging will fall within the realm of responsibilities for this role. This position will work in tandem with our Des Moines warehouse Manager to maintain a successful operation. The applied experience and oversite will lead to an accurate sum of deliveries and will ultimately enhance the customer experience and ensure sustainability in our logistics and supply chain operation.
Pay Range: $20-$24 per hour

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily order fulfillment to ensure timely, accurate processing and shipment
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages or overstock
• Execute pick, pack, and ship operations in NetSuite while maintaining data accuracy
• Create shipping manifests using Excel, Word, and Fast Track Build app
• Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams on fulfillment issues
• Implement quality control procedures and resolve order discrepancies or returns
• Generate fulfillment reports and recommend process improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and transportation requirements
• Handle customer inquiries regarding order status and delivery timelines
• Support staff cross-training and maintain accurate fulfillment records

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven working experience in similar capacity and/or responsibilities
• Associates degree in Business (preferred)
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Ability to think critically and creatively to resolve issues
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Proficient in fulfillment and process improvement
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Travel up to 10%
