QUALIFICATIONS:

We arelooking for someone who has:

  • An Early Childhood Education Certification Level 1, 2 or 3 and has at least 1 year of experience in the child care field
  • An up to date police clearance and first aid
  • A passion for early childhood education and a desire to work in a family-oriented environment
  • A flexible schedule
  • An ability to create a positive environment for children while also providing quality care
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A growth mind-set and a passion for creating a fun environment
  • An understanding of emergent curriculum is an asset

Responsibilities
  • Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
  • Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional, physical, social, and intellectual needs
  • Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development
  • Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the childre
