We are looking for a meticulous Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will manage bookkeeping tasks, payroll processing, financial statement preparation, and tax-related responsibilities for clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial records.

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate account balances.
• Process payroll and submit payroll taxes, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
• Prepare quarterly, monthly, and annual payroll tax returns and filings for clients.
• Handle tax preparation during tax season, including individual and business tax returns.
• Address client inquiries regarding financial statements and provide thorough guidance.
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage bookkeeping tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing purposes.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure their bookkeeping and accounting needs are met effectively.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and payroll tax filing.
• Experience in preparing individual and business tax returns.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
