LeeP Accountants is an accountancy practice in Peterborough. We are a small team of relaxed & friendly individuals who enjoy office banter, like talking to clients and love making a difference.
We are looking for a fun & dynamic team-player to join our small but growing band of accountants and bookkeepers - school or part time hours are an option.
The role will involve:
· Talking and meeting with clients
· Preparing statutory accounts
· preparing bank analyses and other balance sheet reconciliations
· Preparation of management accounts
· Ability to prepare VAT returns and give guidance on VAT chargeable and reclaimable.
· An understanding and running of payroll and CIS
· Preparation of corporation tax returns and associated schedules.
· Understanding add backs and principles of disallowed expenditure.
· Awareness of capital allowances in key areas and different rates.
· Preparation of personal and partnership tax returns.
· Able to identify obvious omissions of information from clients.
· Quickbooks and Xero accounting systems will be used – training can be given although previous experience in this would be an advantage
Team participation and communication
QUALIFICATIONS
· Candidate should be full or part AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified or qualified by experience with demonstrable skills in Accounting & finance.
