Your tasks

• Infrastructure & DevOps – the full-stack aspect:  Independently setting up and managing our infrastructure components (e.g., a self-hosted Prefect instance) on our Linux/Docker servers at Hetzner.
• Data Pipelines (ELT):  Connecting new data sources (e.g., via dlt) and developing robust, scalable pipelines towards BigQuery
• Data modeling:  Transformation and modeling of raw data in BigQuery using dbt, SQL and Python, so that all business units can work with reliable and immediately usable data.
• Business Automation & AI:   Develop smart automations and AI-supported workflows together with our AI team – directly based on the data you have built yourself.

Your profile

• Experience:  You bring 2-4 years of practical experience in data engineering.
• Tech skills:  You have very good knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Infrastructure:  You are not afraid of servers – you feel comfortable on the Linux command line, have solid Docker knowledge and can host tools independently.
• Cloud DWH:  You have hands-on experience with Google BigQuery (or comparable cloud data warehouses).
• Language:  Fluent German skills (at least C1 level) and good English skills, both spoken and written.
• Mindset:  You have a pragmatic full-stack approach and think "end-to-end" – from the bare server to the finished business value through smart AI workflows.
