QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in clinical research / pharma industry is a plus
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors, such as LESS and SASS
  • Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language – Laravel, Express & Node.js
  • Some knowledge of NestJs and/or AdonisJs helpful
  • Understanding accessibility, security & HIPAA compliance
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
  • Data migration, transformation, and scripting
  • Setup and administration of backups
  • Outputting data in different formats
  • Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Proficient understanding of OWASP security principles
  • Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

1nHealth is looking for a Full Stack Developer, with subject matter expertise in React JavaScript, to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for the server-side web application logic, definition and maintenance of the central database and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This role will also be responsible for the integration of the front-end elements; therefore, a basic understanding of the front-end technologies is necessary.

  • Participate in the overall application lifecycle
  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developer with server side logic
  • Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future
  • Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Design and implementation of data storage solutions
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Conduct UI tests and optimize performance
  • Stay up to date with current best practices
  • Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve applications
  • Participate in developing feature requirements & specifications
  • Willingness to learn & explore new technologies
  • Ability to think beyond the current project & anticipate future needs
  • Compile accompanying code documentation
