Full-Stack Developer (AI Products & Internal Platforms) Location: Remote Type: Full-Time / Ongoing Experience Level: 2-4 Years Salary $2500 (neg) About the Role Our Client is looking for a Full-Stack Developer who wants to be deeply involved in building and evolving AI-powered products and internal platforms from the ground up. This role is for someone who enjoys owning the full lifecycle of an application, from scoping and architecture to backend systems, frontend UX, and iteration in production. You’ll work in a fast-moving environment where experimentation, speed, and thoughtful design matter more than rigid process. They build primarily using Replit as our development platform, allowing us to move quickly, collaborate efficiently, and ship real products without unnecessary overhead. What You’ll Be Building AI-enabled tools and applications Internal platforms that support analytics, automation, and operations Data-driven interfaces and workflows Custom applications that integrate with third-party APIs and services This is not a maintenance role. You’ll be actively shaping new products and capabilities. ResponsibilitiesFull-Stack Ownership Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications end-to-end Translate high-level ideas into working, production-ready solutions Make architecture decisions that balance speed, scalability, and simplicity Backend Development Build backend services using Node.js and/or Python Design and maintain APIs (REST, webhooks, async workflows Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL) and data models Handle authentication, authorization, data validation, and error handling Frontend Development & UX Build clean, responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar) Design intuitive workflows for complex or data-heavy features Implement thoughtful UI states, loading behavior, and error handling AI & Automation Integration Integrate AI services (e.g., LLMs, automation workflows, enrichment services) into applications Design systems that safely and effectively leverage AI capabilities Work with structured and unstructured data to power AI-driven features Replit-First Development Use Replit as the primary development and collaboration environment Manage project structure, environments, secrets, and deployments Embrace fast iteration, testing, and continuous improvement Quality & Reliability Debug issues across frontend, backend, and data layers Implement application-level logging, monitoring, and error visibility Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and maintainable over time Required Skills & Experience Strong experience as a Full-Stack Developer Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and Node.js, and/or Python Experience building APIs and backend services Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar) Strong problem-solving and system-thinking skills Nice to Have Experience building AI-powered features or products Familiarity with LLMs, prompt design, or AI service integration Experience designing internal tools, dashboards, or admin platforms
