Position Summary:
The Full-Stack Developer (AI-Oriented) will spearhead the integration of AI capabilities into Medido Health’s core platform, Knostos, and our expanding suite of user portals. This individual will help design and implement AI-assisted workflows, ranging from automated clinical documentation and intelligent triage to chatbot integration and NLP-driven search.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of AI-enabled features within the Knostos platform and user portals
  • Integrate third-party AI/NLP APIs (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face, AWS AI)
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js
  • Collaborate with frontend/mobile team developers to surface AI features via an intuitive UI/UX
  • Design and prototype intelligent assistants (e.g., note-to-summary, smart routing)
  • Work with DevOps to ensure scalable and secure AI deployments
  • Monitor and evaluate AI model performance, accuracy, and impact
  • Research best practices in AI/LLM integration within healthcare and ensure HIPAA alignment
  • Embrace a collaborative, cross-functional environment where you may take on varied responsibilities—from architectural discussions to hands-on coding and product shaping..

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years in full-stack or backend development
  • 1–2 years of experience integrating AI/ML services into production systems
  • Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot or Node.js/Express
  • Experience with AI/NLP toolkits (e.g., OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, LangChain)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Comfort with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and AWS infrastructure

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of vector databases and prompt engineering
  • Exposure to Elasticsearch and real-time data indexing
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, JMeter, and Bitbucket
  • Familiarity with ClickUp or similar tools
  • Experience with healthcare data workflows or regulatory-compliant platforms

Work Location:

This position requires daily on-site attendance. Candidates must be able to work in person every day at one of the following office locations:
