TECHNOLOGY DIVISION

SUMMARY: Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a Full Stack Developer. The Full Stack Developer will report to the Director of Software Engineering. The incumbent will work with other members of the team in a well-developed Agile SCRUM process. The candidate may work alone or with team members to conceive, develop, prototype, test, and debug systems and product features. We are looking for an engineer who has a passion for code and a desire to learn new technologies while working on high-profile projects. Demonstrated proficiency in full stack web-based application development technologies and the ability to work as a team player with little or no supervision. Good written and spoken communication skills are required. This position provides the candidate with a valuable opportunity to work with a skilled team in a variety of engineering and production roles.

Job Duties:

• Design rapid prototypes for proof-of-concept testing
• Support efforts to verify and validate new product designs
• Work with other team members to develop project estimates, tasks, and schedules
• Provide project status updates to manager and business partners
• Interface regularly with other IT teams and sections, business partners, and business/requirements analysts to determine new system requirements and solve complex problems.
• Design and develop prototype software using the latest open-source technologies.
• Receive and incorporate feedback from end users, field tests, and exercises.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent substantive experience, plus a minimum of 3 years of related professional experience.
• Practical experience with web-based application development technologies is required.
• Strong programming skills with Node, JavaScript, and or TypeScript.
• Must have demonstrated ability to effectively communicate concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other individuals and teams.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a good background in the product development process.
• Understands the concepts, practices, and procedures of common agile software development methodologies and associated artifacts.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence with customers

EXPERIENCE WITH:

• Technologies we use: Vue, React, Express, Node, NUXT, React Native.
• Tools: Docker, Jira, Bitbucket, Balsamiq.
• Bonus: Esri, ArcGIS, AGOL, Unity, and Unreal.
