Description

The ASUS Robotics & AI Center is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join our global research and development team. This role is central to designing and building responsive, high-performance web applications that support our robotics and AI technologies. We are looking for an experienced engineer with deep expertise in front-end and back-end development, a strong grasp of system architecture, and a commitment to writing maintainable, scalable code. The ideal candidate will bring a user-first mindset, enthusiasm for working across the stack, and a passion for delivering intuitive, data-driven interfaces that bridge advanced technologies with real-world users. Design and implement customer-facing web applications that efficiently visualize large datasets. Work with other stakeholders to reduce latency in visualizations of real-time data. Write clean, maintainable, and well-commented source code. Work in a cross-functional team that takes ownership of the full software lifecycle. Collaborate with other teams to make optimal software architecture design decisions. Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field. 5+ years of industry work experience or equivalent. Experience with modern front-end and back-end development practices. Hands-on experience with developing web applications. Familiarity with scientific, data, or interactive visualizations (including game-style interfaces) is a plus. Familiarity with modern cloud-based infrastructure (GCP, Azure, AWS) for deploying dynamic web applications. Understanding of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, design patterns, source control management, and test automation. Expertise in Next.js and React. Knowledge of Python, C++, and/or Go is a plus. Experience with UI design using tools like Figma or similar is a plus.
