Senior C# Full Stack Developer

Contract - Initial 12 Months

Dublin, Hybrid

Rate: €500-€750 per day (DOE)

We are seeking a proactive, highly motivated Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer to lead the design, development, and support of a browser-based, global financial compliance system. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who operates self-sufficiently across complex architectural boundaries while maintaining a primary focus on modernizing and maintaining front-end and user-experience solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Architecture & Development: Drive strategic technical direction, system architecture, and hands-on full-stack development for critical global initiatives.
• UI/UX Focus: Oversee user-interface design and execution using C#, ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Kendo UI.
• Global Collaboration: Work directly with international cross-functional teams, business partners, and technical leads to design, build, test, debug, and maintain business-critical software.
• Business Leadership & Strategy: Serve as a senior technical authority to advise management, provide project managers with guidance on key operational risks, and recommend technical innovations that yield a competitive advantage.
• Estimation & Project Delivery: Deliver highly accurate effort estimations for development teams and collaborate across departments to ensure projects ship on time and within budget.

Technical Qualifications - Core Requirements

• Frameworks & Languages: Extensive hands-on experience with Visual Studio, C# (.NET Framework), C# expressions (LINQ Lambda), thread memory management, asynchronous patterns, and data serialization (JSON/XML).
• Front-End Development: 3+ years of experience in responsive UI design using Bootstrap 3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Database & SQL: Deep knowledge of MS SQL Server (2012+) and T-SQL, including structural design, complex query design, execution plan analysis, stored procedures, and SSDT.
• Domain Knowledge: Direct application development experience in Global Markets (Equities, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, Commodities, or Prime Brokerage).
• Soft Skills: Superior, demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

Targeted & Desirable Experience

• Web & UI Stack: ASP.NET MVC 5.x, WebAPI, HTTP REST, Routing, Bundling, Linq2Db, Kendo UI, log4net, and LESS/SASS.
• Agile & DevOps: 3+ years in Agile environments using JIRA. Hands-on experience with Git (GitFlow), Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, and Artifactory.
• Testing & Quality: TDD methodologies utilizing NUnit/xUnit, Moq, and automated web testing via Selenium.
• Data & Analytics: Exposure to data transformation engines (SSIS or Informatica).
• Leadership: Proven experience as a team lead, technical expert, or key architectural decision-maker in the global investment banking sector.
