About the role

Senior Full Stack Developer working in a small team developing and enhancing the DocsCentre eco-system. DocsCentre is a leader in the finance industry providing dedicated establishment and secretarial services for Companies, Trusts and Super Funds. You will build web-based B2B systems with cutting-edge technologies to provide a wide range of services and products that enable businesses to grow and expand fast. You will report to the Engineering manager and be fully involved in all aspects of the development life cycle including planning, designing, coding, and testing applications from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of customer and operation facing systems
• Creating and maintaining online forms using PHP, Node.js, Vue.js, React.js
• Maintain and enhance existing applications built with Knockout.js and Twig
• Building and managing cloud-based systems in AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Building and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation or similar
• Implementing and working with RESTful APIs.

About you

• At least 7+ years of experience in a similar role
• At least 5 years with Vue.js or React and strong javascript experience
• Strong PHP, Node and Mysql skills, with proven experience in developing software and following coding standards and guidelines
• At least 5 years in building and managing cloud-based systems in AWS or similar cloud platform
• Experience in building and maintaining infrastructure as code (i.e Terraform, CloudFormation or similar) will be highly regarded
• Experience using GIT and agile processes
• Strong knowledge of Docker is essential for this role
• Proven ability to build, manage, and optimise AWS environments will be highly regarded
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in Agile software development practices
• Background in Financial Services and knowledge of SMSF would be highly regarded.
