SUMMARY

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to lead the development of a secure, scalable, and intuitive user interface for GridVista—a next-generation platform for real-time grid intelligence. This role will focus on building both the front-end and back-end components of a customer-facing UI/UX portal that visualizes and interacts with data streamed from a cloud-based fiber optic sensing pipeline (BOTDR, DAS).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in secure web application development, data visualization, and API integration. You will work closely with data engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and utility stakeholders to ensure the platform meets the highest standards of performance, usability, and compliance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in full stack development with a focus on secure, data-driven applications.
  • Proficiency in:
  • Front-end: React, Vue.js, or Angular; D3.js, Plotly, or similar for data visualization.
  • Back-end: Python (FastAPI, Flask), Node.js, or Go; PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB; RESTful APIs.
  • Security: OAuth2, JWT, TLS, RBAC, audit logging, and secure coding practices.
  • Cloud: AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker/Kubernetes; serverless architecture.
  • Experience working with time-series data, WebSockets, and real-time alerting systems.
  • Familiarity with utility systems, SCADA/EMS integration, or industrial IoT is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a responsive, user-friendly web interface for utility operators and engineers.
  • Develop secure back-end services and APIs to interface with cloud-based data pipelines and analytics engines.
  • Integrate real-time and historical data visualizations (e.g., sag, temperature, strain, alerts) using modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate user workflows into intuitive interfaces.
  • Ensure system scalability, performance, and fault tolerance across multi-tenant environments.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.
