THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

• Frontend (VueJS & UI/UX) : Develop responsive, accessible, and visually engaging interfaces using Vue.js, Vuex, and Vue Router; collaborate with designers to implement user-centric features and workflows; maintain a scalable component library and enforce UI consistency; and optimise performance and ensure cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Back-End: (Java): Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java; Integrate with databases, third-party APIs, and internal services; implement robust error handling, logging, and security practices; and write unit and integration tests to ensure backend reliability.
• Azure & Technical Support: Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, and Application Insights; support production and non-production environments, ensuring uptime and performance; Handle incident response, root cause analysis, and environment diagnostics; and collaborate with infrastructure and support teams to resolve platform issues.

THE KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Up-to-date knowledge of development, DevOps, and cloud best practices.
• Proficiency in deploying and managing Azure services.
• Familiarity with design tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma).
• Strong understanding of VueJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MS SQL).
• Experience with responsive/adaptive design principles
• Proficiency in deploying and managing Azure services.

• Strong understanding of Java programming language and experience with Java application development, debugging, and optimisation.

• Knowledge of exposing and consuming REST / SOAP services.
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor for infrastructure monitoring and performance analysis is desired but not required.
• 5 years of commercial software development experience
• Experienced and confident in speaking directly with customers.
