About the service

We are now looking for a full-stack developer for an area within Subscriptions & Payments at Fortnox. As a developer with us, you will develop the robust systems that may not always be visible on the surface, but which are absolutely crucial for our customers to have a seamless experience and for our entire organization to succeed moving forward. We drive growth by making it easy for the customer to be a customer, and are responsible for ensuring that our services are easy to buy, manage and pay for.

Your tasks span the entire stack, but with a natural emphasis on the backend. You will:

• Develop new features and services for subscription management and payment flows.
• Work with code reviews and automated tests to ensure high quality.
• Identify improvement potential and implement sustainable, effective solutions.
• Enable flexible pricing and seamless invoicing that creates stable revenue streams.

About you

We are looking for someone who is genuinely curious and passionate about solving complex problems. You thrive in a changing environment and keep up with the latest trends – perhaps you already use prompting as a natural tool when coding?

We would like you to have:

• Several years of experience in professional software development.
• Good knowledge of Java, SQL and React or TypeScript.
• Extensive experience working with APIs.
• A no-nonsense approach where collaboration and communication are a given.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
