WE’RE HIRING OUR FIRST FULL-TIME DEVELOPER AT FINGARDE.

Fingarde is building smart, intuitive financial tools for small business owners, starting with Spendifique, our AI-powered expense platform. We help users organize messy invoices, automate expense entry, and understand their numbers, even if they’ve never worked with a bookkeeper before.
You’ll be Dev #1, our first full-time developer, working closely with our CTO and co-founder to bring Spendifique to life. You’ll have a major influence on how we build, what we build, and how our team grows from here.

MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE:

You don’t need to know everything we use, but you should be confident building and shipping full-stack features. You should have:

• 3 or more years as a full-stack developer (or equivalent indie projects)
• Experience building modern UIs using Vue, React, or a similar framework
• Strong TypeScript skills and clean coding practices
• Experience developing backend services in a Node.js environment
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
• Confidence debugging across the stack
• Fluency in Git workflows (branches, pull requests, code reviews)
• A proactive, self-starting approach — able to ship features with minimal hand-holding
• An interest in secure coding practices
• Experience using AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude

We’re two founders who’ve been on both sides:

• One is a backend engineer with big tech experience
• The other is a CPA who has seen every painful expense spreadsheet you can imagine

We’re building Fingarde because no one else is doing it right, and we’re having a lot of fun along the way.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You’ll wear a lot of hats. Mostly dev hats, but occasionally product-thinker and customer-empathy hats too.

• Build features end to end: From Vue.js frontend to Adonis.js backend, from relational databases to artificial intelligence models
• Work on cutting-edge technologies: Agentic AI will be a central tool across our products
• Crush bugs, squash friction: Debug, refine, and improve whatever isn’t working
• Set the tone: Help shape our architecture and development practices from the ground up
• Automate all the things: Build CI/CD pipelines, manage deploys, and keep our cloud infrastructure humming
• Talk to humans: Work directly with our founders and beta users to make sure we’re solving real problems, not just writing fancy code
