We are looking for a talented and experienced

FULL STACK DEVELOPER

to join our Digital Wholesale team within our Technology unit at Marimekko HQ in Helsinki.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our global digital wholesale business. You’ll be part of a cross-functional, commercially driven Digital Wholesale team that works at the intersection of technology, sales, and operations. Together, we’re striving to increase our global B2B sales by building seamless digital experiences and empowering our Key Account Managers (KAMs) with smart, scalable tools. You’d be building tech that drives real business growth.
This is a full-time permanent position, in which you will report to Head of Digital Wholesale.

Responsibilities:

• Finding and developing future-proof solutions by collaborating with business stakeholders ensuring that technical solutions serve concrete sales and user experience goals.
• Contributing to the development and backend architecture of our new B2B shop, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Improving, optimizing, and supporting our existing EDI infrastructure.
• Ensuring speed of innovation and code quality and conduct unit, integration, and security testing to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
• Automating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Building secure, scalable, and high-performance APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Ensuring rapid deployment of new features while maintaining high code quality and stability.
• Contributing actively to architectural decisions and driving innovation across digital wholesale initiatives.
• Maintaining detailed documentation and following best practices in cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes.

• Impacting to business results — the systems and integrations you build will directly support Marimekko’s ambition to scale its digital wholesale sales globally.

  Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Information Technology or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• At least 4 years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer in sales/wholesale, in cloud engineering, system integration, or backend development roles
• Proven expertise in full stack development, with strong proficiency in frontend technologies (React, Next.js, JavaScript) and backend languages (Node.js, Python, C#).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API development with a focus on performance and security.
• Skilled in CI/CD pipeline automation using GitHub Actions and proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep and Terraform.
• Solid programming foundation, with particular strength in Python development.
• Familiarity with EDI systems and integrations; experience with composable commerce architectures is a strong advantage.
• Strong grasp of web security practices, DevOps principles, and testing methodologies (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Demonstrated experience working in agile environments, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Customer-focused mindset, dedicated to delivering seamless, intuitive, and scalable digital experiences.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Fluent in English. Fluent Finnish is an advantage.
