We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain integrations between IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms in alignment with ITIL best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Development, Automation, RESTful API Integration, and ITSM workflows, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across systems while enhancing IT service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience :
  • 3-5 years of experience in ITSM tool development and integration.
  • Proficiency in at least one ITSM platform (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
  • Technical Skills :
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or Java
  • Demonstrable experience with developing and administering highly integrated systems that maintain state across workflows and tools
  • Experience with and knowledge of CI/CD Processes and Strategies.
  • Expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Familiarity with integration tools like Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, or Azure Logic Apps.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
  • Soft Skills :
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Certifications in ITIL (e.g., ITIL Foundation) or specific ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Developer).Knowledge of cloud platforms and hybrid IT environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Development :
  • Build, test, and deploy integrations between ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, ConnectWise, BMC Helix, JIRA, Freshservice, etc.) using APIs, web services, and middleware tools.
  • Create and manage workflows, automation scripts, and data transformations to align with ITIL principles.
  • Requirements Gathering :
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, data requirements, and ITIL processes like Incident, Change, Problem, and Configuration Management.
  • Platform Expertise :
  • Configure ITSM tools for integration points, including ticket synchronization, asset management updates, and event monitoring systems.
  • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and other identity management integrations.
  • Quality Assurance :
  • Develop test plans for integration workflows, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
  • Documentation and Compliance :
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all integrations, including workflows, code, and system configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL frameworks and organizational policies.
  • Continuous Improvement :
  • Identify opportunities to optimize integrations, improving performance and scalability.
  • Stay updated on ITSM platform updates, industry trends, and new technologies.
