Description Spatial Front Inc. (SFI) is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team in support of our customers’ mission. This role involves leading efforts in application development, rapid prototyping, standards development, and research and development of emerging technologies. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking architect who can design innovative solutions, evaluate new technologies, and guide the adoption of technical standards across customer environments. Major Job Functions Design, plan, and develop secure, scalable web applications. Research emerging technologies and deliver proof-of-concept applications to demonstrate applicability in customer environments. Identify, create, and maintain technical standards and standards documentation. Deliver demos, presentations, and training to customer staff to drive adoption of new technologies and standards. Primary Responsibilities Serve as a technical leader in the design and development of advanced web applications. Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies into customer solutions. Develop documentation to support standards and interoperability. Provide mentorship, demos, and training sessions to ensure successful knowledge transfer and adoption of best practices. Requirements 6+ years of web application development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks). 5+ years of experience with Vue. 4+ years of experience with FastAPI and Python. 5+ years of experience working within AWS cloud environments. Strong knowledge of system architecture for scalable, high-performance applications. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. U.S. residency for at least the past three years (required for Public Trust clearance). Desired Skills & Qualifications Ability to lead a small team when needed. Experience with large data processing systems. Experience with multi-node load-balanced system architecture. Experience designing applications for high throughput and concurrent user counts. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (nice-to-have, not required). Certifications Desired: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or higher). Additional Information Clearance: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Background checks may include Criminal History, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Certifications, and Credit History. (Public Trust investigations typically take 4–8 weeks and require fingerprinting.) Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 annually. SFI maintains broad salary ranges to account for variations in skills, experience, market conditions, and location.
