REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Must have more than 5 years’ experience in software development roles. Strong technical skills essential.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with React, Node.js (TypeScript) and Go
Experience using Docker in development and production
Strong understanding REST APIs
Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering principles, including version control, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with AWS services
Familiarity with agile methodologies
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a contract role for an experienced Software Developer based in Brisbane. In this role you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development on our AWS hosted data integration SaaS platform. Our core tech stack includes Node.js, Go and React. You will be a key member of the development team, working closely with product management to deliver fantastic experiences for our internal team, customers, and partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop and deploy high quality product features ensuring security, scalability, and performance
Utilize AWS services for scalable and secure application development
Provide input on product planning, estimation, and timelines
Manage deliverables and keep stakeholders informed of progress
