Software Developer - .NET / Cloud

Robert Half is looking to connect with experienced Software Developers across the Perth market for upcoming permanent and contract opportunities.

We are particularly interested in speaking with developers who have strong .NET engineering backgrounds and experience building modern, cloud-based applications and services.

The type of experience we're looking for includes:

• Commercial development experience with C#, .NET and .NET Core
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and back end services
• Modern front end development using React, Next.js or similar technologies
• Experience building and supporting production applications through the full software development life-cycle
• Exposure to microservices, event-driven architecture or distributed systems
• Cloud development experience across AWS or Azure
• Experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
• Docker and/or Kubernetes exposure
• Strong understanding of automated testing, unit testing and integration testing
• Experience working with Git and collaborative software engineering practices
• Good understanding of application monitoring, logging and observability
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams

Exposure to AI-enabled applications or modern Microsoft technologies would be highly regarded, including:

• LLMs, RAG or agentic AI applications
• LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel or similar frameworks
• Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Power Platform
• Dynamics 365
• AI integration within customer-facing applications
