What you will do

• Integrating mathematical optimization engines and Generative AI capabilities into production-grade enterprise applications (key part of this role)
• Design and implement end-to-end features across backend and frontend
• Build and evolve scalable microservices and APIs using Java (Spring Boot)
• Develop high-quality frontend applications using Vue.js
• Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
• Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Support and mentor other engineers through technical guidance and feedback

What you will need

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring / Spring Boot
• Experience building microservices and REST APIs at scale
• Solid frontend experience with React or Vue. Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Platform & Engineering Practices: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP); Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes; Experience with CI/CD and DevOps collaboration
• Strong knowledge of testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Understanding of performance, security, and scalability principles
• Collaboration: Proven experience working in cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

• Exposure to or experience with Operations Research (OR) concepts and ecosystems: MILP/LP modeling, constraint programming, scheduling, routing, forecasting
• Experience with agent frameworks and protocols (e.g., LangGraph, Pydantic AI, Model Context Protocol / MCP)
