Description

Responsibilities

Build scalable REST APIs with FastAPI and occasionally WebSockets
Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and SQLAlchemy models
Develop and integrate React/TypeScript frontends
Implement authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0/JWT and RBAC
Write unit, integration, and contract tests with pytest
Improve performance, reliability, logging, monitoring, and observability
Deploy and maintain services on AWS
Work closely with Product, QA, Data Engineering, and DevOps

Requirements

3+ years of professional Python development
Production experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks
Strong PostgreSQL skills
Practical React + TypeScript experience
Testing, type safety, and CI/CD experience
Understanding of OAuth/JWT, RBAC, security, and compliance/PII

NICE TO HAVE

AWS and Docker/IaC experience
Redis, Celery/RQ, and WebSockets
B2B data products, analytics, or report-generation systems
Experience designing domain-oriented APIs
