As a Full Stack Engineer IV, you will play a critical role in the architecture, development, and maintenance of complex systems supporting cutting edge Artificial Intelligence initiatives. You will be responsible for driving full stack solutions from concept to production, leading technical efforts across front-end and back-end systems in a Python-based architecture. This position requires strong technical leadership, a deep understanding of modern frameworks, a collaborative team-based work ethic, and the ability to mentor and support members of the team.

FULL STACK ENGINEER IV EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUESTED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience.
  • Expertise in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Strong experience with server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, .NET).
  • Proficient with databases (SQL and NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, or other advanced web technologies.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, QA, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership in architectural decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
  • Lead complex project components, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability by identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across the full stack.
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, making recommendations for tool and process improvements.
