Full-Stack Engineer (Python, Django, TypeScript)

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to collaborate with a US-based client!
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in building cutting-edge products, dynamic data services, and tools that shape the future of the insurance industry. You will bridge the gap between Product, Insurance, and Data, developing systems and features in an environment ripe for innovation. Additionally, you will contribute to establishing the culture, rituals, and processes that define a high-performing engineering team and organization. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• A passion for programming and building innovative solutions.
• 5+ years of experience with Python.
• 2+ years of experience with Django.
• 2+ years of experience with relational databases.
• 2+ years of experience with TypeScript.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Proven experience working on remote teams.
• Experience with developing custom solutions in Salesforce (designing, integrating, and optimizing the platform) is a plus.
• English level B2 or above is required.

• Modernize workflows for operational teams:
• Enhance the backend and migrate critical parts of the UI to update and automate workflows.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience.
• Increase efficiency with AI:
• Work with the Data and Engineering teams to leverage AI through React frontends.
• Transform unstructured documents into actionable, structured information.
• Support HR solutions:
• Enhance the clients HR application to prepare for its next stage of growth.
• Build tools for Claims operations:
• Create new services that enable the Claims team to process a larger volume of complex claims across multiple insurance lines.
• Standardize development processes:
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to create documentation, examples, and training for Python and JavaScript codebases.
• Establish best practices to ensure high-quality output as the team grows
