Develops and directs software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Responsibilities Requirements Analysis Understands, reads, and reviews requirements Works with Business Analysts to understand business requirements Software Architecture Assists with the documentation and maintenance of architectures Software Design Assists with Features and modules design Evaluates open source Assists with the documentation and maintenance of designs for software systems Development/Coding Develops scripts and code for a feature and module using Java Spring Boot and RESTful APIs Implements responsive and dynamic front-end interfaces using React and Redux Ensures cross-technical integration across services and platforms Participates in peer reviews Testing Develops unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing Library Identifies and fixes defects across the stack Collaborates with QA to define test strategies and ensure coverage DevOps Captures, consolidates and maintains inventory of applications/infrastructure for all software engineering verticals Documents deployed processes and tools and collects metrics Documents processes and publishes them to team for review & updates Software Reliability & Support Engineering Captures and consolidates inventory of production applications, flows and systems for several products Helps in preparing application support documentation Troubleshoots basic application issues with the help of knowledgebase documents Customer/Stakeholder Engagement Technical Project Management Provides status reports and maintains a project plan for a product R&D/Innovation Investigates, analyzes, and evaluates new technologies Qualifications 3+ years experience Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development Strong experience with React, Redux, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps Experience with Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines Understanding of full-stack principles, including state management, API integration, and responsive design Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
