Description

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients JobType: full-time As a React Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, responsive web applications. You will work closely with design, backend, and product teams to deliver seamless, user-centric experiences while ensuring clean, maintainable, and scalable code. Key Responsibilities Develop new user-facing features using React.js and maintain existing applications. Build reusable components and front-end libraries to support future development. Optimize application performance across devices and browsers. Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code. Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver robust solutions. Ensure code integrity and organization by following best practices and coding standards. Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services efficiently. Participate in code reviews and actively contribute to continuous improvement of code quality. Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and maintainability. What Makes You a Great Fit Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with React.js development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including DOM manipulation and modern JavaScript patterns. Experience with state management workflows such as Redux, Context API, or MobX. Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools like Webpack and Babel. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling. Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Tokens (JWT). Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library is a plus. Nice to have: familiarity with TypeScript, Next.js or other server-side rendering frameworks, GraphQL, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum environments. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration abilities.
