This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 4 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer who will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance web applications across both frontend and backend layers. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in React.js, Node.js, and modern web technologies, with the ability to lead technical execution and support end-to-end delivery. The candidate will be responsible for building reusable UI components, developing and integrating backend APIs, and ensuring performance, security, and scalability of applications. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and adherence to UI/UX best practices is essential. Key Responsibilities Take an active role throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, debugging, testing, and deployment. Design and develop responsive, reusable, and scalable frontend components. Create robust backend APIs and services using Node.js, including REST and GraphQL. Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to design effective and efficient data models. Integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly. Engage in code reviews and adhere to best engineering practices, ensuring high standards for quality, performance, security, and scalability. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver smooth and cohesive product experiences. Implement responsive design, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and apply mobile-first development principles across all projects. Contribute to research and development efforts by staying current with emerging technologies and participating in innovation discussions. Provide on-call support during major events and critical system deployments. Represent the company in technical discussions, client meetings, and project reviews as necessary. Background and Experience 4 to 8 years of practical experience developing and maintaining complex web applications using JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and jQuery. Strong expertise in the React.js ecosystem, including Hooks, Context API, functional components, and state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Zustand. Established experience with Node.js and backend frameworks like Express or Fastify. Familiarity with Next.js and experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs is desirable. Deep understanding of application scalability, performance optimization, and maintainability. Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS), Redis caching, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA. Strong grasp of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and UI/UX best practices. Hands-on experience integrating social media APIs like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as working with XML and JSON data formats. Additional experience with mobile optimization and frameworks like jQuery Mobile is a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, coupled with a proactive and solution-focused attitude. Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows, and Agile development processes.
