SOFTWARE DEVELOPER- FRONT END - SENIOR

On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer- Front End - Senior for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER- FRONT END - SENIOR - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves designing and developing front-end code for user interface interactions and creating effective user interfaces. The role includes translating technical systems specifications into working applications and resolving technical problems during software operation.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER- FRONT END - SENIOR - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 7+ years of experience in Angular and Java
• In-depth understanding of Core JavaScript
• Extensive experience with Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, and SCSS
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API integration
• Experience with code version control systems like Git
• Knowledge of AODA and related regulations
• Experience with cloud-based architectural practices

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER- FRONT END - SENIOR – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline
• Knowledge of middleware and gateways
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jasmine
• Experience with Social Media APIs
• Understanding of Information Management principles

• Design, develop, and implement front-end code
• Translate technical specifications into tested applications
• Troubleshoot technical issues during software operation
• Conduct unit tests and maintain code
• Provide technical assistance during implementation and migration
