DAILY RATE: $900

GFT is looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with expertise in test automation framework development, backend services, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. This role requires a strong technical leader who can drive automation strategies, develop testing tools, and manage onshore and offshore teams.
As a GFT contractor, you will be part of a high performing team of professionals within a 12,000+ team members global organization which is developing and implementing technology solutions for its clients and partners.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 10 years of hands on experience in Technology
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the banking industry
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Docker, Container Management
• Backend Development: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, JVM Troubleshooting, Node.js, Python, Kotlin, C
• Frontend Development: JavaScript, React-Redux, TypeScript, jQuery
• API & Architecture: API Gateway, REST, Swagger, Web Services, API Governance
• Databases: PL/SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora AWS, MongoDB, DynamoDB
• Test Automation: Karate, SmartSpec, Component Testing, Photon-Boot
• CI/CD & Deployment: Spinnaker, Jules, EKS, Manual Deployments, Splunk Logging
• Business Consulting & Project Management: Experience working with clients from startups to Tier 1 banks

• Framework Development: Build and optimize test automation frameworks using Karate, Java, and other automation tools.
• Tool Development: Design and develop new testing tools and solutions for software quality assurance.
• Proof of Concept: Evaluate and create PoCs for emerging testing tools and technologies.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and mentorship for test automation initiatives.
• Resource Management: Lead and coordinate onshore and offshore teams to ensure project success.
• Test Automation Strategy & Implementation: Define and execute test automation strategies, integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
