LANSING, MI (HYBRID)

We are currently seeking a Full Stack Java Developer. Candidates must be located within a 90-minute drive of Lansing, MI. The first-round interview will be via Microsoft Teams Video. The second-round interview will be held in person in Lansing, MI. There is no option for a Microsoft Teams video interview for the second interview. The work schedule is hybrid, consisting of two days onsite in Lansing, MI (Tuesday and Wednesday) and three days remote. There is no option for a fully remote work schedule. A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a full-stack java developer position, exposure with front-end development is desired. The position will be supporting our client’s Project Development and Maintenance programs. As a software developer, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with the project manager, application owner, and resource manager, working on an agile development team to organize work, develop, test, and deploy code. This position performs a variety of complicated tasks and may report directly to a project lead or manager. This position must have excellent communication and teamwork skills, be self-directed, committed, and a quick learner. In addition to full-stack development, this position will also work with UI/UX team members in building user interfaces and responsive applications.

REQUIRED SKILL SETS:

• Seven years of experience programming complex computer systems using current JAVA, this includes using relevant IDE tools such as Eclipse/JBoss Developer Studio.
• Five years of experience programming application user interfaces using current JavaScript/front-end frameworks and CSS.
• Four years of experience programming with Java 8.
• Five years of experience programming projects using current Spring framework.
• Five years of experience programming projects using JPA/Hibernate framework.
• Five years of experience participating as a programmer within an Agile development environment.
• Five years of experience programming with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Bootstrap.
• Five years of experience programming with HTML5, CSS, and Data Tables.
• Four years of experience programming with jQuery, jQuery UI.
• Four years of experience programming with Oracle 12C or Oracle 19C.

DESIRED SKILL SETS:

• Four years of experience programming with React.js.
• Four years of experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise environment.
• Four years of experience programming in SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• Four years of experience programming with Log4j, Junit, and Tiles.
• Four years of experience programming with Jasper Reports, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects.
• Four years of experience with ADA, WCAG 2.0, Section 508 compliance policies, User Experience design principles and standards.
