The Role:You’ll be involved across the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and development through to testing, deployment and production support.

The environment combines established applications with modern microservices and cloud-native architectures, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, security and continuous improvement.You’ll work closely with engineers, architects and distributed teams to deliver new functionality while also improving existing platforms.

• What You’ll Be Doing:Design, develop and deliver secure, scalable software solutions
• Build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop modern frontend applications using React
• Work with microservices and event-driven architectures
• Design and consume REST APIs
• Work with relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Write complex SQL and contribute to database design
• Work with Kafka and distributed messaging
• Contribute to cloud-based application development and deployments
• Take ownership of features from design through development, testing, release and production support
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement remediation
• Develop automated unit, integration and performance testing
• Participate in code, design and security reviews
• Contribute to technical standards, architecture decisions and continuous improvement
• Use AI-assisted development and automation tools to improve productivity and code quality
• Mentor and support other engineers where required

• Strong Java development experience
• Strong Spring Boot experience
• Solid React experience
• Full Stack experience across both frontend and backend
• Strong knowledge of microservices
• Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL

• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies
• Understanding of software design patterns and engineering best practices
• Experience working across the full SDLC
