MUST-HAVE SKILLS

  • 2–3 years of experience in software development (open to slightly less if skills are strong).
  • Proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
  • Experience working with AWS (deployment, hosting, monitoring).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
  • Based in the UK and able to work remotely with good connectivity.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong problem-solving and debugging skills to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys getting to the root of technical issues, and is comfortable working with limited documentation.
Your primary responsibility will be directly interacting with stakeholders & clients, finding root cause analysis, helping devise solutions to their technical needs.
You’ll be communicating directly with clients to gain insights, troubleshoot issues, and gather feedback and documenting cases to streamline future support.
Between assisting clients, you’ll contribute developing solutions using PHP & MySQL, adding value to our budding SaaS services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take ownership of Level 2 support tickets, diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Query and analyze MySQL databases to identify causes of problems.
  • Communicate with clients to gather context, provide updates, and close the feedback loop.
  • Build, maintain, and expand technical documentation as issues and solutions are identified.
  • Support and train Level 1 support staff when appropriate, helping them improve their ability to resolve issues.
  • Develop new features and functionality in PHP, ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure, deployment, and system reliability.
