About You At Boost we believe a great Full Stack Software Developer will embody our values and build strong relationships with our clients and team in order to solve complex and interesting problems. We’d love to meet you if you: enjoy working as part of a driven, high-performing team have a curious mind and a desire to learn more everyday enjoy building relationships know how to self direct and take initiative value receiving and sharing knowledge adapt well to ambiguity and change Ideally, you'll have: have at a minimum, a couple of years of experience as a software developer ideally have experience with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript frameworks like Vue or React, and cloud environments such as AWS and Kubernetes expertise in producing modern, accessible web applications a Computer Science degree (or equivalent experience or education) enjoy learning about and using AI development tools Key responsibilities Build bespoke applications using Ruby on Rails. Manage and configure our flexible infrastructure stack including AWS, Docker and Kubernetes. Build and improve our Continuous Integration services (Github Actions and Gitlab Pipeline) - running tests, linters, security and accessibility audits and deployments. Develop high quality and well-tested code. Take initiative and be resourceful in problem-solving. Use tools like AI to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and improve development workflows. Work in a small, dedicated and high-performing Agile software team. Work closely with Product Owners and our UX/UI designers. Continuously learn and share knowledge to grow the development team capabilities. Build strong relationships with Boost team members and clients.
