FULL STACK SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Location: Remote(from UK based home address - please note that in person attendance to final interview is required)
Hours: 08:00 to 16:30 (with 1 hr unpaid break for lunch)
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Reporting to: Head of Engineering
Although this role is remote, successful candidates must reside in the UK, due to practical and legal requirements.

DESIRABLE

  • Exposure to mobile development (React Native)
  • Background in edtech or education platforms
  • Familiarity with other backend frameworks or CMS platforms

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a versatile and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team.
You will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable web applications that support our digital platforms and internal tools.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications using modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code using best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.
