Like to start at the beginning? Want to learn about or help influence solution design and technologies used? Bytoa is seeking an ambitious, career- and customer-focused Full Stack Developer responsible for the design, development, deployment, and sustainment of various mission-focused capabilities used by our customer. You will need to be able to distill requirements into individual components, forecast development milestones, and brief customer leadership on progress. Our projects are high-visibility, and often include a blend of design/architecture, development and operational user engagement. Experience with the various stages of the software development lifecycle is imperative.

In this position, you’ll be tasked with:

• Leading the design and development of frameworks and suites of tools used by our customer and the Community
• Providing project management support, forecasting development milestones, managing backlog and working with leadership on progress
• Engaging operational users to prioritize and enhance functionality

Salary range: $145,000 - $270,000
Disclaimer: Salary for this position, along with additional compensation options, will be determined on an individual basis following the interview process, considering various factors such as years of experience, skills, education/certifications, contract specifications, market conditions, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Mathematics, or related technical field
• Extensive experience with Java development and Spring frameworks, including Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring MVC, and Spring Security
• Experience with Maven build process and unit testing
• Experience designing and implementing Access Control mechanisms for a least privileged access implementation.
• Database experience and experience building, developing, and testing with SQL technologies (e.g. MySQL)
• Experience developing UI/UX using web technologies (e.g.; Node.JS, Redux, React, NPM, etc.)
• Ability to gather requirements and design a solution with minimal oversight
• Ability to present a development plan and forecast deliverables
• Experience integrating complex authentication systems in a web-based environment
• Experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)

DESIRED SKILLS

• Experience with containers (Docker)
• Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration technology
• Experience with Messaging Frameworks such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, and RabbitMQ
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite of tools (Jira, Confluence)
