A Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. They play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment, and ongoing support. Essential Functions: Design, code, and test software features and components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements. Lead coding efforts for specific modules or features. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues. Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards. Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions. 2-- 6 years of hands-on technology experience with the ability to work in teams spread out in multiple locations. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 - 6 years of hands-on experience on Java 17 or above, at least on some AWS services (Batch, ECS, cloud formation, API gateway, S3, Lambdas), Spring boot, microservices, React, Angular, SQL. Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent applicable work experience Enthusiasm to work and learn in a team environment. Ability to work on a task independently with minimal supervision. Team player with experience of working in teams spread in multiple locations. Assist in coding, debugging, and testing software components and features. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
