Description
Job Description We're looking for an experienced full-stack engineer who lives on the mobile side to build the next generation of our mobile platform: the companion app to Rapid Next that puts the funeral home in the pocket of staff on the go, and the successor to the legacy mobile apps you'll also help support. This is a hands-on role, primarily mobile but sitting within a full-stack context: you'll own features end-to-end across React Native, .NET, and React. You'll work across the full mobile delivery: React Native and TypeScript on the device, the .NET APIs behind it, and the Azure DevOps pipelines that ship builds to TestFlight and Google Play, as we deliver V1 to the German market and prepare for the Nordics and Austria. You'll also keep the legacy mobile apps running and pick up general full-stack tickets alongside the team. Day to day you'll work with colleagues across Germany, Sweden, and Norway. Your tasks: Design, build, and ship mobile features end-to-end: React Native client, .NET services, and the React web frontend where needed Contribute to agile delivery in a small, focused team with significant autonomy over your approach Work closely with product management to turn requirements into working software Support and maintain the legacy mobile apps alongside the rewrite Pick up full-stack tickets in .NET and React, integrating against both modern and legacy APIs Uphold quality through code review, automated tests, and attention to security and performance Your skillset: Production experience shipping React Native apps to iOS and Android: the core of your work Comfort maintaining legacy mobile codebases alongside greenfield rewrite work Solid full-stack foundation in C# / .NET and React, enough to own mobile features end-to-end and pick up full-stack tickets Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and cloud infrastructure Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) Ownership mentality from design through to production Fluent English (German a big plus) What we offer: A Berlin office that keeps you close to Engineering, Product, and the rest of the business Meaningful work as the market leader in funeral technology Direct influence on the technical direction of a company in transformation A small engineering team owning the mobile platform end-to-end Real autonomy over how you ship International collaboration across Germany, Sweden and Norway Find us here: About us Rapid Data is a leading software provider for the funeral industry in Europe and has been synonymous with innovation and progress since 1989.
