This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer in the United States. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Full Stack Software Engineer to join an early-stage team building innovative geospatial AI solutions. In this role, you will take pioneering ideas and rapidly turn them into functional, interactive prototypes that showcase platform potential. You will collaborate closely with product, research, and backend teams, designing intuitive spatial interfaces and visualizations while integrating with large-scale AI frameworks and APIs. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the frontend experience of an AI-native geospatial platform, influence technical architecture, and contribute directly to product innovation in a fast-paced, experimental environment. Flexibility, rapid iteration, and curiosity about AI and geospatial systems are key to success. Accountabilities: Rapidly prototype and iterate interactive features, turning concepts into working demos using React and Python. Build rich, spatially aware interfaces, including map-based UIs (e.g., Mapbox), dashboards, and data visualizations. Integrate backend services, APIs, and emerging protocols such as Model Context Protocol (MCP). Collaborate with AI engineers, backend developers, product leads, and researchers to translate workflows into intuitive interfaces. Ensure frontends are responsive to infrastructure constraints, particularly when handling large datasets or ML workflows. Evaluate user experience for interacting with vector embeddings, spatial metadata, and AI outputs, proposing improvements where necessary. Maintain speed and adaptability in a fast-moving, experimental startup environment. Strong experience with React, including component architecture, state management, and styling frameworks. Familiarity with mapping libraries such as Mapbox or Leaflet. Working knowledge of Python for API integration or lightweight backend development. Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, handling JSON payloads, and asynchronous calls. Some exposure to relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). Ability to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate interfaces with minimal supervision. Proficiency with Git and basic CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions). Interest in AI/ML systems, particularly geospatial models and vector embeddings. Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage ambiguity. Collaborative, product-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in early-stage startups or rapid prototyping environments. Exposure to geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, tilesets, or raster data. Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation or MCP workflows. Experience visualizing ML outputs, embeddings, or metrics in frontend applications.
