North Point Technology is looking to hire a Full-Stack Software Engineer to work on our FS2 Aero team. The qualified candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance, and will modify existing code and integrate software solutions for the Aeronautical Navigation Office. The ideal candidate has an excellent understanding of software development concepts and exceptional coding skills across different tools and projects in support of the mission. This program requires employees to have an active TS/SCI clearance Responsibilities: This position involves software development activities that support building and delivering new and innovative software solutions to Aeronautical based applications. Duties will include building AWS services, deep understanding of software languages (C#/Java, Python, Shell), participate in Agile Methodology, perform deployments to multiple dev, test and operational environments, patching, troubleshooting, and working with internal teams and departments. Required Skills/Experience: Strong knowledge of core AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, compute, storage) Proficient in C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Shell scripting Experience with GitLab, DevOps tools, and Agile development practices Active participation in Agile events (standups, planning, increment planning) using Jira/Confluence Cloud system administration and integration of open-source software with GOTS code API development, database integration, and web app enhancements using Redux and React Apply best practices in unit testing, build testing, and visualization tools Collaborate with team on ticket assessments, testing, and meeting user story criteria 3+ years with React or modern JavaScript frameworks 3+ years with Python and C# 3+ years using unit testing, CI tools, and GitLab Self-starter with strong communication skills and positive attitude Experience in software development/integration in cloud or SOA environments BS + 8 years, or MS + 6 years, or 4 additional years of related experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear verbal and written communication tailored to audience/context Preferred Skills/Experience AWS developer mindset Experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration Experience with DoD aeronautical datasets Experience with AWS CloudFormation templates Experience with Node, NPM, Swashbuckle, REST API, and Sass AWS Solutions, Developer, or DevOps certification Familiar with collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence Qualifications Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance DoD 8570-compliant certification (e.g., Security+) North Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country’s most crucial missions!
